FUTRISTC is built the way we'd want to be sold to: honestly. Every product we ship is designed from a real problem, not a market template — a safe-to-spend number instead of another budgeting dashboard, a grocery list that actually knows who's in your household instead of a generic meal plan.

We write the database schema, the auth, the AI integration, the admin tooling and the test suite ourselves — because the boring 80% is where trust is actually built. If a number is a projection, we say so. If a feature could quietly get an allergy wrong, we make it a hard filter with no override.

IN-N-EX replaces the usual pile of budgeting charts with a single, honest safe-to-spend balance — anchored to a real bank balance, with every upcoming bill already deducted. Built for individuals and couples who want to know what they can afford before they tap their card, not after.

  • Balance-anchored, not projection-only. The core number always prefers a real, user-entered balance over an estimate.
  • Sergei, the AI assistant. Knows your actual income, bills and balance — answers "can I afford this?" with real numbers.
  • Household mode. Linked partner accounts, combined balances and custom bill splits, not just an even 50/50.

Cart to Belly starts from the household itself: who's eating, what they can't eat, what they love, how many nights a week they actually cook. From there it builds a real shopping list — organised by day and meal, aware of the pantry, priced against a real budget.

  • Allergies are a hard filter, never a suggestion. A recipe matching a listed allergy is excluded outright, no override.
  • Deterministic recipe matching, not per-call AI. Fast, consistent and fully explainable — critical for allergy safety.
  • No-account shopping links. Share a live list with anyone, no sign-in — expires automatically after 8 hours.

How we build

Engineering standards, not vibes

The same disciplines run under every product we ship.

Security by default

Rate-limited auth across login, signup and password reset. PBKDF2-SHA256 hashing at 100,000 iterations. Row-level security enforced at the database layer, not just in application code.

Tested, not eyeballed

The actual money math and safety logic — safe-to-spend calculations, income averaging, allergen matching — run through automated test suites, so financial and safety logic is regression-tested by design.

Rules over guesswork

Where a wrong answer has real consequences — an allergy, a bill, a balance — logic runs on deterministic, auditable rules rather than a model call at generation time. AI is used where it earns its place, never as a black box.

Built to fail gracefully

Global error-catching middleware wraps every API route. Data is soft-deleted, never silently destroyed. Self-hosted error monitoring means we find bugs before users have to report them.
